To reserve your elopement date, time, and package, please complete the form: SECURE YOUR ELOPEMENT DATE. A coordinator will confirm availability within 12 hours and send you an invoice and contract via email. Once you sign the agreement and make the payment, you’re all set!
Booking overnight accommodations is not mandatory if you’re having your elopement ceremony at Lakecroft.
At Lakecroft, you can enjoy a celebratory toast with your loved ones, along with small bites and nibbles, typically served in a charcuterie style, before continuing your festivities. Most couples opt to make a reservation at a local restaurant or have other plans in place. If you need any restaurant recommendations, feel free to contact your coordinator.
Yes. There are gravel path ways throughout the property and the ceremony site is grassed
Up to two leashed pets are welcome at the elopement, but they must stay leashed at all times, and any waste should be cleaned up. Pets are not allowed inside the overnight accommodations or getting-ready rooms and must remain outdoors only.
Lakecroft is a licensed venue, therefore outside alcohol is not allowed. As part of the elopement package, a toast will be provided for guests of legal drinking age. If you would like to offer additional alcohol to your guests, please reach out to the venue for options.
The bouquet/boutonnieres are crafted from flowers grown right on-site, designed to capture the whimsy and beauty of your special day. Each arrangement is one-of-a-kind and yours to keep.
You are responsible for coming prepared with your marriage license. Your Officiant will assist you with the process.
The document given to you on your wedding day (post ceremony) is your Record of Marriage. It is a record of your Marriage Licence which your officiant will submit to Office of the Registrar General to register your marriage with the Province of Ontario. The Record of Marriage is a personal, not a legal, document. The official legal record of your marriage is the Certificate of Marriage. Though you are legally married, it takes a few months for the paperwork to move through the system and for your marriage to be officially registered by the Province. Mark three months from your wedding day on your calendar to apply for your Certificate of Marriage from the Service Ontario website. The form will ask if you want the short or the long form. Request the short form. The legal record will not be sent to you automatically. It is up to you to request it.
